MANIFATTURE VALLOSIO was born on 18 July 1950 from the intuition of its founder Vallosio Alfonso who, thanks to the ancient tradition of the Upper Orco Valley, toghether with some employees starts painting the leathers. He passed away prematurely, so in 1960 the reins of the company pass to his wife Clelia and to his eldest son Giovanni.
In 1967 they take over a manufacturing company and experiment with the production of military items (accessories for caps).
The second son, Roberto, is also involved in the activity; the company works both on the preparation of leathers, then varnished, and on the manufacturing of military items.
After the initial difficulties, the owners aim to improve the quality of the product; their goods are largely appreciated and provide highly regarded technical qualities.
Later, the grandchildren become interested in this particular type of production: from 2001 to 2008 two other family members, Giorgio and Federica, Roberto’s children, decide to join the company.
Over the years, the company has always focused on staff training, achieving excellent levels of experience and professionalism supported by cutting-edge machinery and techniques.
It has invested a lot in the search of high quality raw materials and has optimized the production cycle to meet any type of request.
In Italy, the company usually supplies visors, wagons, alludas and, if necessary, any other accessory for civilian and military caps.
It can also rely on good collaboration in Africa and Europe as each sample sent and viewed abroad has received excellent rating for the quality and technical requirements provided.
